OKAYA Power Pvt. Ltd. has established a Quality Management System that is in conformance with International Quality System Standard ISO 9001:2008. It is certified by ASR (American Systems Registrar), USA, which is accredited by ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board.

OKAYA Power Pvt. Ltd. has also established an Environmental Management System that is in conformance to Environmental System standard ISO 14001:2004. It is also certified by ASR.

At all manufacturing units of OKAYA Power Ltd., Stringent Quality procedures are followed, which include:
• Incoming Quality Control
• In-Process Quality Control
• Final Quality Control

Each and every raw material, semi-finished product or finished product is subjected to rigorous quality tests as per well-defined and controlled Test procedures and Control plans. The Quality checks are not limited to only the essential raw materials like lead and acid but encompass smallest and seemingly trivial items like petroleum jelly, handle dori or carton box.

During IPQC checks, all processes of Battery making process are covered like Lead alloy making, grid casting, oxide manufacturing, paste mixing, pasting and flash drying, curing, spine casting, oxide filling, bottom bar insertion, ammonia pickling, small parts casting, cell assembly, final packing and dispatch.

Final Inspection before Despatch is done with an exhaustive check list, so that customers get a product, which meets all the standards of Aesthetics, Performance and Life, leading to ultimate customer satisfaction.

The successful implementation of Quality System has been achieved by keeping a complete record of Customer feedback; conducting constant analysis of Product failure modes and trends using modern quality tools like A3 sheets, FMEA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagrams; taking immediate corrective and preventive actions, Internal/External Audits and measurement of Customer satisfaction.

We commit ourselves towards a clear and sustainable environment through resource optimization and pollution prevention.
